Our 2010 Bible Reading Plan! We will read and study one chapter of the New Testament each day. As we read God's Word we begin to see how God responds to things. Doing daily devotions re-patterns the way that we think. When we face similar situations as Jesus did we begin to respond in the same way. Here's how we'll do it:S - SCRIPTURE:Open your Bible to read the passage found under today's date of your daily reading plan. Take time reading and allow God to speak to you. When you are done, look for a verse that particularly spoke to you, and write it in your journal. O - OBSERVATION:
What do you think God is saying to you in this scripture? Paraphrase and re-write the scripture in your own words in your journal. A - APPLICATION:Personalize what you have read by asking God how this applies to your life right now. Perhaps it's instruction, encouragement, revelation of a new promise or corrections of a particular area in your life. Write how this scripture applies to you today. P - PRAYER:This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this scripture, or a greater insight on what He is showing you. Remember, prayer is a two way conversation! Be sure to listen to what He has to say to you and write it down. DOWNLOAD THE SUMMER QUARTER READING PLAN HERE
